Whispers  on  the  Horizon
地平線上的低吟
born in 1990, Houston - lives and works in Queens, New York

The Song of the Lambs is a series of 29 handcrafted bronze objects, inspired by traditional sheep bells. Each produces a unique tone shaped by small variations.

Bunny Rogers was moved by the sound of sheep bells in southern France. She imagined wearable instruments for people—each with its own personal music. This idea led to the creation of instruments that act as sound portraits. The work marks a shift in Rogers’ practice, which has often focused on themes such as loss and alienation. With her installation for the Taipei Biennial, she turns toward life, using sound as a symbol of presence and connection.

Bunny Rogers blends deep emotions with childhood memories, using videos, sculptures, and poetry. She creates quiet, emotional worlds—where beauty and sadness gently coexist.
