HUANG HSIN-YAO
Ko Szu-hai is an eccentric character who frequently appears in news reports. On a quixotic quest, he takes stray dogs he has rescued onto the street every day to engage in guerrilla-style acts of protest. Using his own peculiar methods, he struggles to gain the attention of the media, and thus invade the images of television news throughout Taiwan. This film documents the encounters among Ko Szu-hai, his rescued dogs, reporters, police and even students filming the documentary.
