英國萊斯特(University of Leicester)大學美術與電影史系博士,關注當代藝術中的跨域交流,尤其是各類型的影像藝術在二十世紀後期開展出來的美學樣態,除此之外也從博物館研究的角度來關注影像與新媒體藝術的發展。研究所之前專注於藝術與文學創作,曾獲梁實秋文學獎(2002)、台北文學獎(2003)、時報文學獎(2008)、全國學生文學獎(2006, 2009)、國家文藝基金會97、98年度文學創作類補助,以及行政院文建會第一屆優秀青年藝術典藏。研究所後開始從事當代藝術、新媒體藝術與電影美學的理論書寫,曾獲世安美學論文獎(2011)、數位藝術評論獎(2007、2008、2010、2012)與國家文藝基金會藝評台首獎(2011),以及國家文藝基金會101年度美術調查與研究類補助。現任中興大學人文與社會科學研究中心博士後研究員。

Ling-Ching Chiang earned her Ph.D. degree from the Department of the History of Art and Film, University of Leicester. Her research focuses on the interdisciplinary exchanges in contemporary art, particularly the aesthetic modalities unfolded by various genres of image art in the late twentieth century. She also pays extra attention to the development of image art and new media art, and analyzes them from the perspective of museology. She devoted herself to art and literature creation before enrolling as a graduate student. She has won several prestigious literary awards such as Liang Shih-Chiu Literary Award (2002), Taipei Literature Festival Award (2003), China Times Literary Award (2008), National Student Literature Award (2006, 2009), grants from National Culture and Arts Foundation for literary creation (2008, 2009), and the first Project to Collect Young Artists’ Works, the Council for Cultural Affairs, Executive Yuan.

She embarked on academic writing of theories about contemporary art, new media art, and cinematic aesthetics after enrolling as a graduate student. For her theoretical works, she has won S-An Cultural Foundation Aesthetic Essay Award (2011), Digital Art Criticism Award (2007, 2008, 2010, 2012), and the first prize of Arts Critic Forum, National Culture and Arts Foundation (2011), and grants from National Culture and Arts Foundation on fine arts survey and research (2012).She is currently the Postdoctoral Researcher of Research Center for the Humanities and Social Sciences at National Chung Hsing University.
