Violet Yu-Wei Tsai

台北人。大學期間從政治系一頭栽入藝術史的世界,特別著迷於20世紀中國藝術史研究。畢業後赴英國取得倫敦大學亞非學院(SOAS)藝術史與考古系碩士,研究方向著重於中國現、當代藝術發展。近兩年關注亞洲新興市場當代藝術的跨域交流與發展。曾任職於洛克菲勒家族非營利藝術基金會亞洲文化協會(ACC),從事藝術贊助與藝企合作項目工作。

現為獨立藝術公關顧問、策展人與藝術史研究者。近期策畫《Project UAS (Urban Art Squatting)》藝術展覽與系列跨界實驗表演,並與倫敦Art Find藝術顧問公司共同策劃中國長江商學院「藝術品鑑賞與投資」台灣課程。同時進行其他藝術項目的規劃。http://viartandco.com/

Shifting her interest from Politic studies to History of Art research, Violet was certificated MA degree in History of Art and Archaeology at SOAS, University of London. Her previous researches focus on the development of China’s modern and contemporary art history. These 2 years, she has directed her attention on the vigorous development of contemporary art in South East Asia. Violet worked for Asian Cultural Council as Program Associate before and she was in charge of the cross-cultural exchanges and funding projects for artists.

Now she is an independent art PR consultant, curator and researcher, initiating several art projects in Taiwan and Asia. Her recent exhibition is “Project UAS (Urban Art Squatting).” She also works with London based art consultancy “Art Find” to launch art programme in Taiwan for China’s Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business.http://viartandco.com/
